Radha Ji Kavach

Radha Ji Kavach is a sacred protective prayer dedicated to Shri Radha Rani, the embodiment of divine love, compassion and devotion. The word “Kavach” means a spiritual shield or protective armour. Through this prayer, devotees seek Radha Rani’s blessings for protection from negative energies, fear, mental distress and obstacles in life.

The verses of Radha Ji Kavach invoke different divine forms and qualities of Shri Radha to protect the devotee’s body, mind, heart and soul. Reciting it with faith is believed to purify one’s thoughts, strengthen devotion and create a sense of inner security. It also inspires devotees to surrender their worries at the lotus feet of Radha Rani and follow the path of pure love and Krishna Bhakti.

Radha Ji Kavach may be recited daily during morning or evening worship. Its recitation is considered particularly auspicious on Radhashtami, Janmashtami, Ekadashi, Fridays and during the holy month of Kartik.

After completing it, devotees may chant the Hare Krishna Mahamantra and offer a personal prayer for protection and guidance.

Radha Ji Kavach can be recited every day, especially in the morning or evening. Fridays, Ekadashi, Radhashtami, Janmashtami and the month of Kartik are considered particularly auspicious for its recitation. Devotees may also chant it during difficult periods or whenever they feel mentally disturbed or spiritually weak.
