Vastu Remedies for Govardhan Puja

Vastu Remedies for Govardhan Puja explain simple and auspicious practices that can help remove negative energy and invite peace, prosperity, happiness, and divine blessings into the home. Worshipping Lord Krishna and Govardhan Maharaj, keeping the entrance clean, lighting diyas, and maintaining purity in the worship area are believed to improve the positive energy of the household.

Govardhan Puja is celebrated on the day after Diwali and commemorates Lord Krishna’s divine act of lifting Govardhan Hill to protect the people of Braj. Along with its religious significance, this sacred occasion is considered highly auspicious for following Vastu remedies that promote harmony, abundance, and spiritual positivity.

Begin the day by thoroughly cleaning the house, especially the main entrance and the north-east direction. Decorate the entrance with a beautiful rangoli, mango leaves, flowers, or auspicious symbols such as Swastik and Shubh-Labh. Lighting a ghee diya near the main entrance in the evening is believed to prevent negative energy from entering the home.

The Govardhan Puja setup should preferably be arranged in the north-east or east direction. Prepare Govardhan Maharaj traditionally with cow dung or use a symbolic representation made from clean natural materials. Offer flowers, incense, sweets, milk, curd, butter, and Annakut dishes to Lord Krishna. While performing the puja, face east or north to maintain an auspicious flow of energy.

Worshipping cows and feeding them green fodder, jaggery, or chapati is another important remedy associated with Govardhan Puja. Feeding birds, animals, and people in need is also believed to strengthen positive karma and attract divine grace. Avoid keeping broken idols, damaged utensils, unnecessary clutter, or spoiled food in the worship area, as these may obstruct positive energy.

According to Har Ghar Pandit Ji, Govardhan Puja should be performed with devotion, cleanliness, gratitude, and respect for nature. Family members should participate together in the worship and pray for protection, prosperity, good health, and harmony. These remedies are traditional spiritual beliefs and should be followed with faith rather than fear.
